Bertha… has often chided me about… my wardrobe… too much… black… too much… boring. Her belief is that… bright… fun… clothes… enhance your mood and your life. She even wears her favorite colors… if not her fave outfits… when she cleans or does yardwork. Which is rarely… but I’m getting off track.

So… a couple of months ago when I was invited to girls-night-out-wig-edition… she totally overrode my objections… and signed me up.

Okay… I was hesitant. I usually don’t enjoy… going out. Until… my friend… put that … Pink Halloween Wig… (sung to the tune of Raspberry Beret… Prince would be so proud)… on my head. I was like a different person. A person who laughed more. A person who was less self-conscious. A person who danced with a group of women. A person who drank a soft drink and was home by 9:00pm… well… too much change on one night can be overwhelming. But… that wig… was magic… kinda like Frosty’s hat.

Bertha wasn’t surprised… she said that just like there… are six degrees of separations between people… there are only a few… sometimes only one… degree of separation from humdrum… to fabulously fun.

So… how about it… it’s St. Patrick’s Day… how about a green-glitter leprechaun hat? That ought to do it!

Bertha… also added… that although it’s just fun to have fun… it also helps you to be more open to receiving… and when you are more open to receiving… you allow the good things to flow into your life. Money. Love. Adventure. You name it. If you desire it… put on a pink wig and see what happens.
