Yesterday…I drove to work…in a Winter Wonderland…oh…there was no snow…but…the frost was so heavy…that the evergreens were as white as flocked Christmas trees…

As beautiful as that was…the interesting thing was…the fog…they called it…a freezing fog…which I suppose was responsible for the heavy-duty frosting…I’m not exactly sure of the phenomenon that brought it all about…being as I’m not a…meteorologist…and…I haven’t played one on TV…I just know…it was beautiful…it was eerie…it was quiet…it was peaceful…it was cold

It took several hours for that…frosty fog…or…foggy frost…to burn away…but…when it did…it was a delightfully sunny day…warm…even…and I so appreciated the sunshine…

Bertha…said…it reminds her of life…mine in particular…that things are always changing…and…although…I can’t hold on to life…any more than the frost could hold on once the sun came out…that…I can savor the moments as they come…and…then…savor the ones that take their place…

Savoring…
