Yesterday was a beautiful day…sunny…high in the sixties…not bad for mid-February…especially when last week it was snowing and freezing…
Yes…weather in the South is fickle…and…there were a few patches of snow in the shady spots to remind me of that…of course…Bertha…says…it reminds her of my life…of my emotions in particular…
She says…that they seem to change as often as the weather…happy…sad…angry…glad…no one emotion hanging around for too long at the time…
However…she surprises me by saying that’s the way it should be…she says we weren’t meant to feel the exact same way all the time…that…growth takes place in the changing of the emotions…and…that each one has its purpose…just as snow and sunshine have theirs…
